Pretty Smart (2021)

No Nudity

Review

Sometimes the hardest people to relate to are in fact your closest relatives.  This is especially the case for Chelsea (Emily Osment) and her sister, Claire (Olivia Macklin).  You see Emily is not just smart, she's a Harvard educated, officially Ivy League intellectual who wishes to become a novelist with her rapier wit and breadth of knowledge she acquired over years of reading the classic literature of the world.  Then life hits her right between her smart eyes when she's dumped by her boyfriend very unexpectedly and has no place to land.  That's when she calls her sister out in California to see if she can live with her for a while.  When Chelsea lands on the west coast, she soon learns that her carefree and almost willfully ditzy sister doesn't live alone, she lives with a handful of roommates who all rub her the wrong way.  Grant (Gregg Sulkin), is a painfully sexy personal trainer with a distracting body with a job that never requires him to wear a shirt.  Solana (Cinthya Carmen), a lawyer who quit her high paying job to become a spiritualist and healer.  Then there is Jayden (Michael Hsu Rosen), who is a social media influencer and his sole mission in life is gathering followers.  So this fish out of water is now stuck living with her sister and her friends while also trying to pick up the pieces of her life in a new city.  Lucky for us though, everyone is west coast sexy on this sitcom, especially led by Gregg Sulkin who can probably just throw out all his shirts in real life too!
