The Real Housewives of New York City (2008-2021)

With the first show in The Real Housewives franchise being set in Orange County, California, in 2008 Bravo brought some East Coast flair to the franchise with the OG spinoff, The Real Housewives of New York City. This reality show that follows the busy lives of Manhattan socialite wives who balance their careers, social life, and rearing children with living in the Big Apple. The first season starred breakout The Apprentice star Bethenny Frankel, who would not only become the star of the show but would launch a successful alcohol business using her fame. Bethenny would have all sorts of spinoffs, but for fourteen seasons and counting viewers have been hooked on the drama of the original cast, and the various add-ons that have come along the way. Iconic moments include when Aviva Drescher yanked off her prosthetic leg after being accused of "being fake," when Luann de Lesseps decided she was a great singer and shot a cringetastic music video for her song "Chic, C'est La Vie," and when Leah McSweeney was such a rampaging drunk the women christened her "Hurricane Leah." Of course, the bitchy women are what has fans coming back season after season, but every now and again there's a hot dude who both Mr. Man and Andy Cohen want to bone. At one point, the girls get some much-needed excitement when they are visited by "The Naked Bear Chef" aka Adrian De Barardinis who wears an apron in the kitchen and not much else.
