Growing up in a suburb of Philadelphia, Adrian Pasdar had a pretty normal childhood. He played sports, hung out with his friends, and landed a football scholarship to the University of Florida. When an off-field injury ended his football career, he explored the theatre department, then dropped out and just went for it. Looking like a politician who gets all the ladies, his strong jaw and ability to wear a three piece suit like no one’s business meant he was a shoo-in in Hollywood. He made his on-screen debut as Chipper in Top Gun (1986), a part that was written just for him after director Tony Scott was impressed with his audition. Focused mostly on films for the early part of his career, he’s created stellar TV characters as his career proceeded. He’ll forever be remembered for his parts as Declan Dunn in Mysterious Ways from 2000-2002, ADA David McClaren in Judging Amy from 2003-2005, as Nathan Petrelli in Heroes from 2006-2010, the voice of Tony Stark in various Marvel animated series and video games, President Paul Garcetti in the mini-series Political Animals (2012), Alec Rybak in The Lying Game from 2011-2013, and Glenn Talbot in Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. from 2014-2018. On the big screen, we see that delicious curve at the top of his ass when he gets hot and heavy with Diane Lane in the movie Vital Signs (1990). He also played Darstar in Solarbabies (1986) with Jason Patric (a late-night must-see), Frankie in Carlito’s Way (1993) with Al Pacino, and the Skeet Machine salesman in Secondhand Lions (2003) with Robert Duvall. You may also recall seeing Adrian in two Dixie Chicks music videos, “Goodbye Earl” and “Without You.” That would be because he was married to Natalie Maines (the short blonde) from 2000 to 2019.
