Akira Shoji found fame as a Japanese mixed martial artist. The Osaka-born stud competed primarily in Pride FC Mixed Martial Art events, where he gained recognition for his fun personality and energetic involvement with fans. A look at Shoji’s competition history will tell you that the muscleman has more losses than wins, but his status as the underdog with a can-do attitude won the hearts of the Japanese people. Speaking of winning hearts, Akira Shoji’s foray into the film industry, though brief, has our pulse going. The gorgeous guy makes an appearance in Shoujyo (2002), where he balances on a roof in a squatting position. Lucky for us he does this tricky pose wearing only tight white boxers, and lucky for us his bulge makes a cameo as well. Now that Akira Shoji is out of the ring, we hope he gets more into the movie scene!
