Daddy's home! Andriy Rymaruk made waves in 2019 with his twice-nominated role in the dystopian movie Atlantis. This thing was a hit at the Venice Film Festival and was even Ukraine's official selection for the 2021 Academy Awards. How could the critics not love Atlantis? Andriy is a total daddy's daddy, with a beefy manly body and some very smoochable facial scruff. There's something about a huge dominating Ukrainian guy that just always seems to do it for us. But this flick was just the start of Andriy's acting career. Two years after Atlantis he starred in a movie short titled Maria. 2021 also brought his role in the movie Reflection. This flick hits close to home, as it takes on the very topical invasion of Ukraine by Russian troops. Let's just say that Ukrainian cinema... isn't known for its romantic comedies. Reflection lays bare the humanitarian disaster happening in front of our eyes in Ukraine. We love how Andriy is willing to challenge the status quo and inspire change with his acting. Sadly this is the end of the acting résumé for Andriy. We're sure that the pandemic hobbled what could have been a banner year for this up and comer. We hope that Andriy gets into the acting game again so that we have more chances to see that super cute face and super cute bod on screen!
