If you ask Mr. Man, Anthony Anderson is the perfect man. He’s undeniably handsome, talented, funny, and he’s probably got a cock that’s thicker than his wallet. The alliterative-named actor came straight outta Compton, rising above his humble beginnings to thrill boob tube and silver screen enthusiasts alike. Before becoming an actor, double A tried his hand at stand up comedy, failing miserably, in his own words. We're thankful for that failure, because we would’ve never had the chance to see Anthony flex his acting muscles if he'd been successful. Back when there was a lot more of Anthony to love, most became enamored with Anthony as the likeable class-clown Teddy Broadis on the Saturday morning teen basketball drama series Hang Time. Wish we got to see what was hangin between his legs, just one time! With an obvious talent for performing on film, Hollywood quickly adopted Anthony and he scored guest spots on the shows NYPD Blue, Malcolm & Eddie, My Wife and Kids, and Veronica Mars. On the silver screen, the hunky and occasionally chunky piece of chocolate scored spots in films like Big Momma's House (2000), Me, Myself & Irene (2000) and Barbershop (2002). You may remember his work in Kangaroo Jack (2003) or as a fake gangsta in Malibu's Most Wanted (2003), but Anthony was just a well known character actor playing stuff like the Burger Shack employee in Harold & Kumar Go to White Castle (2004) and the parody of Eight Mile (2002) inspired Mahalik in Scary Movie 4 (2006) when his career really started cooking, Proving he was more than funny, Anthony was drug kingpin Antwon Mitchell on The Shield and Boston cop Tony Brown in The Departed (2006). These successful, serious roles led to him playing Detective Kevin Bernard on Law & Order for over a decade. While Guys With Kids didn't take off, Black-ish did in a big way. The smash hit ABC sitcom lasted from 2014 to 2022, and even launched a spinoff called Grown-ish. Our ish was growing in a major way watching while Anthony did a naked stroll past his wife on ABC's suburban black family sitcom. That's to say nothing of his Prince inspired performance of the Purple One's "Kiss." But he's not just a sitcom and movie star, Anthony hosts game shows like To Tell the Truth. To tell the truth, we wish Anthony would show us more than he has thus far in his career!
