To Live and Die in L.A. is the title of a 1985 movie but it also sums up the brief life of California cutie Cameron Boyce. Like James Dean, Heath Ledger, Brandon Lee, Brad Renfro, Freddie Prinze, and River Phoenix, this promising performer died while in his twenties. But when he was alive, Cameron made the most of his multi-ethnic looks and on-screen charisma. Born to a Jewish mother and an African-American father, the mixed-race maven had Caribbean genes. Perhaps that helped him kick off his career as a dancer when he was just a kid. After appearing in a music video, the talented tot scored a recurring role on the primetime soap opera General Hospital: Night Shift (2008). The boob tube babe could also be seen on the sitcoms Jessie (2011-2015) and Gamer’s Guide to Pretty Much Everything (2015-2017) while he could be heard on the animated shows Jake and the Never Land Pirates (2012-2014) and Descendants: Wicked World (2015-2017). The latter series was part of a franchise that includes the TV movies Descendants (2015), Descendants 2 (2017), and Descendants 3 (2019). Speaking of sequels, Cameron popped up on the big screen via the Adam Sandler romps Grown Ups (2010) and Grown Ups 2 (2013). Before suffering a fatal seizure, the 20 year-old left fans with his memorable guest spot on the HBO dramedy Mrs. Fletcher (2019) wherein he shows off his bulging briefs, chiseled chest, and same-sex preference for Jackson White. Needless to say, Mr. Man will miss Mr. Boyce!
