Dance of the Forty One (2020)

The saying that "history repeats itself" is definitely true, and the history of political scandals didn't just start when the good old fashioned boob tube started pumping out the news, 24 hours a day.  In this period piece out of Mexico, we follow one of the earlier political intrigue tales from our friends to the south.  The tale follows Mexican congressman, Ignacio de la Torre (Alfonso Herrera), who rose to power in the late 19th century and was a bit of a hot shot in the political world of the time.  Ignacio was not only an upstart power player, he even married the daughter of the incumbent President of Mexico, so he has connections on connections.  His story takes an unprecedented turn though when the local police bust up a late night house party at a villa in the countryside and it is an orgy of men, most of which are in the upper-echelon of Mexican society. Some are even dressed in women's clothes (GASP!)...  So for the highly religious and conservative nation of Mexico, this is the first legitimate scandal that included the word "homosexual" in the media.  So as Ignacio winds up getting arrested at the party, him and the powers that be around him do everything they can to keep a lid on the Caligula-esque behind the scene shenanigans that was going on.  The only problem is that the news was keen to pick-up the story of powerful men in compromising positions and run with it!  A story that still has cultural impact to the very day in Mexico! Star Alfonso Herrera shows an impressive amount of skin with his bubble butt and burly boy moustache bringing the heat.  We also get some full frontal action from Carlos Oropeza during an orgy scene for the ages!  Also a bit of sexy good times from Emiliano Zurita in that same pile of studs, better known as The Dance of the 41.
