Daren Kagasoff kicked off his showbiz career by getting a girl pregnant. Okay, not actually Daren, but his character, Ricky Underwood on The Secret Life of the American Teenager, the wholesome series that had a non-wholesome moment this one time at band camp, and kicked off Shailene Woodley’s career, as well as put Molly Ringwald back into the minds of people, where she permanently belongs. As the bad boy who gets innocent Amy knocked up, then has to deal with the consequences (sometimes poorly), Daren impressed folks and scored legions of female teenage fans from 2008-2013. Case in point: his four nominations and one win at the Teen Choice Awards for Choice Summer TV Star and Choice TV Actor in a Drama. Following that series, Daren tried his hand in movies, appearing as Trevor in the horror flick Ouija (2014), but went right back to TV to show off his six-pack abs, flatter than flat stomach, and how truly fabulous he looks with low-slung jeans while playing the recurring role of Hunter in Red Band Society from 2014-2015. After a bit of a break (maybe surf time, or playing golf, two of his favorite hobbies), Cali native Daren returned to TV as Gabe Napolitano in The Village in 2019, proving those muscles weren’t just for 2015. In 2022, he grabbed the role of Bill Koenig in the film Devotion, co-starring a whole host of hotties, including Glen Powell, Joseph Cross, and Joe Jonas.
