Born and raised in New York, it’s only natural that Eddie Cahill made his on-screen debut in Sex and the Cityin 2000, at the hot-guy age of 22. From there, he made the rounds in multiple NYC primetime series, including the recurring gig of James, the bad drug dealer in Felicity in 2000, and Tommy Dowd in an episode of Law & Order: Special Victims Unit in 2001. You may also recall him playing Tag Jones in Friends from 2000-2001, opposite Jennifer Aniston’s Rachel. He was so impressive, he got the lead as Mike Dolan in Glory Days in 2002. On the big screen, he played Jim Craig in the hockey flick Miracle (2004) with Kurt Russell, followed by the part of Larry Gordon in Catherine Hardwicke’s Lords of Dogtown (2005) with Heath Ledger. His longest running role, though, took him back to New York, where he starred as Detective Don Flack in CSI: NY from 2004-2013. When that was over he went Under the Dome as Sam Verdreaux from 2014-2015, then went all hot and sexy as Conner Wallace in Conviction. Somewhere along the way, he went from hot guy next door to slightly silver fox who looks damn good in sweatpants. Seriously. There’s abs and a whole lot of delicious skin exposed under his belly button. Sigh. Sigh again. Having definitely found his place on the television screen, Eddie has since popped up in both guest-starring and recurring roles on primetime shows like Hawaii Five-O as Carson Rodes in 2018, Michael Alber in L.A.’s Finest and Eddie Barrett in NCIS: New Orleans in 2019, and as James/Jake in Fantasy Island in 2021.
