Long, tall, and built, Quebec cutie Eric Bruneau is officially on Mr. Man’s radar, and has been ever since his skinematic nudeness as Luc Sauvageau in the Canadian film Le règne de la beauté (2014), aka An Eye for Beauty or Two Nights (depending on where you find the flick lurking). A shower scene with a group of guys shows that Eric can hold his own, and that he’s not shy about showing off everything he came out of the womb with. While still studying at the National Theater School of Canada, he was discovered by a director, and won the lead role of Albert Renaud in the film Les états-Unis d’Albert (2005), aka The United States of Albert. (He had to get special permission to miss classes, but managed to catch up and graduate on time.) In the US, you can find him in feature-length films, playing Luc in Stay (2013) with Aidan Quinn, and Guy Broussard in Crisis (2021) with Armie Hammer. Elsewise, you’ll have to turn to Canadian cinema, or better yet, Canadian TV shows, to get a regular dose of Eric. He’s had starring roles on the little screen as Sylvain Régimbald in Toute la verité (All the Truth) from 2010-2014; Milan Garnier in Blue Moon from 2016-2018; Maxime Moreli in Mensonges from 2014-2018 (where he proves he’s improved with age, and been to the gym a few more times); Marc-Antoine in Trop from 2017-2019, and Liam Bouchard in Coroner from 2019-2022. As the French would say, ooo-la-la. Or, since we’re doing French-Canadian, maybe ooo-la-la-eh?
