FBI: International (2021-2022)

In the annals of titles that don't make a heck of a lot of sense, FBI: International is one of the bigger noodle scratchers we've come across in quite some time. In 2018, Dick Wolf (Law and Order, Chicago Fire, PD, Med) created his third entertainment television franchise, this time on CBS, starting with FBI in 2018, followed by FBI: Most Wanted in 2020 and finally FBI: International in 2021. The series centers around an elite group of FBI agents based out of Budapest and led by Scott Forrester (Luke Kleintank) whose mission is to move on any perceived threats to American assets abroad. The team includes career FBI agent and second in command Jamie Kellett (Heida Reed); ambitious and smart accounting expert Andre Raines (Carter Redwood); and interrogations expert Cameron Vo (Vinessa Vidotto), the team’s newest member, formerly an agent in Seattle. They are often assisted by veteran Europol agent and political fixer Katrin Jaeger (Christiane Paul). The series, which debuted in the early fall of 2021, is off to a promising start, though as with all network television shows, don't go into this one expecting there to be a ton of nudity or, frankly even sexy content is sometimes hard to come by on these action oriented shows. Jon Tarcy dropped by the show's eighth episode to add a little sexy shirtless content into the series, but that's been about the long and the short of it thus far, emphasis on the short. FBI: International is a series that doesn't make sense on many levels.
