Biography

One of eight children, actor Franklyn Seales was born in 1952. His family lived in the West Indies before moving to New York. Seales got into Julliard after helping out an actress friend with her Romeo and Juliet audtion. Seales made his acting debut in a TV film adaption of King Lear (1974). He also appeared in The Onion Field (1979), Star Trek: The Motin Picture (1979), TV's Hill Street Blues, Amen, Growing Pains and his most famous role as Dexter Stuffins on Silver Spoons. In The Onion Field, he's shirtless for a scene and spends another in his white underwear.
