Casting news broke last week at a time when casting news is rare due to the strikes (which is understandable). That is why it was exciting to learn that hot muscular actors Jason Momoa and Dave Bautista are teaming up with director Angel Manuel Soto to make an action-comedy that is certain to utilize the bodies on these boys. A muscular action-comedy with these two hotties? Sign me up!
It is exciting that Angel Manuel Soto is directing. He is coming off hot from the Blue Beetle which is in theaters now. If you haven't seen that film yet, then know that its star is nude every time he transforms back from being the Blue Beetle. We don't see any of his goods, but the implication - in a superhero movie no less - is enough to make me excited! What is this director going to have his stars do with their perfectly chiseled bodies?
All we know of the movie so far is that it is called The Wrecking Crew - and these two zaddies could wreck me any day of the week with those bulging biceps and thick thighs of theirs. These are some of the biggest guys in the industry and this feels like a prime time to show off those muscles.
The plot is not being revealed at this time, but the script was written (and negotiated prior to the WGA strike) by Jonathan Tropper who created Warrior. That is exciting as well because Warrior has never been shy about giving its male actors some bootylicious scenes. Andrew Koji, Dean S. Jagger, and many more actors' butts certainly get screen time! No wonder there was a bidding war for the pitch in 2021 - everyone who is involved knows how to be sexy.
Bautista and Momoa have been on board since day one, but news of the director's involvement just broke so that is why everyone is talking about this movie. It can't be made until the strikes are over, but I simply can't wait for this thing to go into development. I want to see still shots of these bad boys shirtless. I am positive that we will see shirtless action from these hotties. Maybe even some pantsless stuff? I hope so!
Dave tends to keep his pants on, but Jason has enjoyed letting his cheeks get some fresh air. From Conan the Barbarian to Game of Thrones, Jason Momoa has shown off that perky bubble butt of his a handful of times. Not enough for my liking though. Let's send the message to Jason that this movie needs to have ass. Wreck those shorts, Jason! Show us the booty.
I know he isn't shy about it. He even showed his cheeky on Jimmy Kimmel Live! when he took off his luxurious purple satin suit (pajamas?) and got down to his skivvies. I'm sure his ancestors are proud of that full moon that he showed off for a live studio office.
