German actor Ludwig Trepte comes from an entertainment family. His father Stephan was a member of a popular East German band Lift. From an early age Ludwig loved performing. He began forma acting lessons as a kid and landed his first professional part at the ripe old age of 12 when he was cast in a TV mini-series called Beim Nachsten Coup wird alles anders (2001). From that moment on Ludwig worked steadily in films and TV in Germany and throughout Europe.
