Aldis Hodge is the star of the hit show Cross, but he's done a lot of work before this series. We love that he is a leading man, but let's retrace some of his steps. Where did a man this fine come from? He comes from North Carolina where his older brother was also interested in acting even though both of their parents were in the Marines. That explains why both he and his brother Edwin are so disciplined with their craft.
He went to college in California where proximity to Hollywood gave him an easy entrance to stardom. He soon starred in TV shows like Supernatural, Friday Night Lights, and Leverage where he acted and played music. He's skilled at playing the violin and the clarinet, so those instruments occasionally show up alongside Aldis' performances. He made his way to feature films with roles in 2004's The Ladykillers and 2013's A Good Day to Die Hard. It wasn't until he started shedding layers that we became hard.
Not only is he musically inclined, but he is also very physically inclined. He is a trained martial artist who is skilled in kung fu, capoeira, muy Thai boxing, and more. He also made an appearance in Black Adam with The Rock, proving that he has what it takes to be in the Big Leagues and the Justice League. He currently stars in the series Cross where lusting after him in each scene is our cross to bear.
He is slated to star in the upcoming film adaptation of the hit controversial play The Dutchman. I personally can't wait to see that one drama and watch Aldis Hodge really stretch his acting chops. It's doubtful that he will go nude, but I believe anything is possible with this man as our #crush.
