He has not yet gone nude, but he has a very exciting role coming up that makes me think we will see some sexiness from this pouty-lipped lover. Let's take a look at the one and only Austin Butler for today's #MCM!
Austin is everywhere right now. TV shows, movies, musicals, and magazines. His name is tossed around for every major casting choice. He is the new generation's lead contender for heartthrob. But where did he come from?
The young Mr. Butler was allegedly discovered in a classic Hollywood way. The California native was wandering around the Orange County Fair when he was a tween. He was only thirteen years old when a management company asked him if he was interested in having some camera time...as a background actor. We all have to start from the bottom! He did exactly that and he quickly worked his way up to being a teen television star.
After being an extra on the Nickelodeon show Ned's Declassified School Survival Guide, he landed real speaking roles on Zoey 101, Wizards of Waverly Place, iCarly, and Hannah Montana. So, yes, he was on all of the popular 2000s kids' shows.
Austin took his shirt off on The Carrie Diaries and proved that not only is he no longer a lowly extra - he is also a grown-up man with grown-up abs. He also took his shirt off in The Shannara Chronicles. Who is Shannara? We are here for Austin! He also portrayed the heavenly hottie (who would turn into a psycho-killer with the Manson Family), Tex Watson, in Once Upon a Time in Hollywood...

He had a really stunning leading role when he portrayed Elvis in Baz Lurhman's frenetic and over-the-top biopic of Elvis Presley (told through the perspective of his manager which is certainly interesting). Baz loves maximalism on the big screen, but Austin shines amidst the colorful chaos. His voice, his lips, his cut jaw...he really does educate those of us who weren't alive back then when it comes to how crazy girls were over Elvis. If he looked like this, I'd throw my panties at the stage, too!
Now for his upcoming role. When Dune was cast everyone was dying to know who would take on the role of Feyd-Rautha Harkonnen in the second half of Dune. The role was not immediately cast and Dune fans everywhere wondered which hot boy would (possibly) slip into the same manties that Sting did in the 1980s version of Dune. Remember this?
I'm sure you can guess that the answer to 'who is playing Feyd-Rautha?' is Austin Butler. That only makes sense considering how hot he is both physically and on the young Hollywood scene.
