Sting, you say?  Singer, songwriter, actor, activist, lutist, nudist, tantric sex expert?  Yep, that’s Sting! Born Gordon Matthew Thomas Sumner, the blond babe has gone by the name Sting due to his penchant for wearing yellow and black striped sweaters (how many did he have?!). Of course, Sting’s musical prowess is legendary with his band The Police (1977-1984), his solo faire, and the 17 Grammy Awards he’s collected over the years. If that’s not impressive enough, the alluring overachiever is also an actor with a bulging… filmography to boast about. Kicking off a movie career in The Who’s rock opera Quadrophenia (1979) isn’t too shabby — especially when more roles rolled his way. The hardworking hottie sizzled onscreen in the mockumentary The Great Rock ’n’ Roll Swindle (1980); the televised play Brimstone and Treacle (1982); the drama Plenty (1985); the romantic horror flick The Bride (1985); the fantasy film The Adventures of Baron Munchausen (1988); Guy Richie’s crime caper Lock, Stock and Two Barrels (1998); and the fashion comedy Zoolander 2 (2016). Through the decades, Sting has steamed up the small screen with appearances on Saturday Night Live (1991), Ally McBeal (2001), and Only Murders in the Building (2021). Yet we’re partial to his part in the sci-fi epic Dune (1984). David Lynch’s cult classic features Patrick Stewart, Brad Dourif, Dean Stockwell, Virginia Madsen, and Sting’s fit physique! The topless talent dons a metal cod piece that reflects his torso glistening with sweat. Too bad we can’t also see his out-of-this-world Sting-er!
