Mark Carpio is a big deal, and not just because the hottie let his tush peek out during a standing-up sex scene. This momentous milestone occurred on the Philippines TV show High (School) On Sex (Did Mr. Man remember to say Mark is Filipino? He’s Filipino.). Mark plays Sir Lem in the fabulously nudity-intensive program, and does the deed in a library, his cheeks vying for our attention beneath his shirttails. While this was highly memorable for everyone, the acting thing isn’t actually how Mark is most well-known in his native country. It’s his voice, more than his ass, that has fans swooning. Although he spent his childhood singing and writing songs, he set his musical aspirations aside to get degrees in real estate and entrepreneurship, then a master’s in business administration. He officially started singing at the age of 28, and hit it big in 2016 with the single “Hiling,” which has racked up over 64 million streams on Spotify, along with his self-recorded cover of “Don’t Know What To Do,” with a whopping 40 million views on YouTube. He’s a signed artist through Viva Records, and even appeared on the Filipino version of The Masked Singer, playing the Tin Man (he only made it through two rounds). Other hits (in case you’re familiar with the music charts in other lands) include “Kay Tagal,” which was featured in the Filipino film Imagine You & Me (2016), and “Akon a Lang Sana,” which translates to “I Hope it’s Just Me.” It’s not. Mr. Man feels it, too, Mark. He feels it, too.
