Canadian comedian and writer Mark McKinney is probably a familiar face to you, but you should also know that he was a sketch comedy legend with a lasting legacy. Mark was born and raised in Otta to a Canadian diplomat and a writer. He and his siblings were able to travel the world thanks to their diplomat father, so he spent time all over the globe. Mark and his younger brother both became comedians. You might recognize Mark best for his role as a grocery store manager Glenn in the popular TBS series Superstar. He has also played Father Williams in A Night at the Roxbury (1998), Richard Smith-Jones in Slings and Arrows (2003), Tom in Man Seeking Woman (2015), George Quimby in The Best Laid Plans (2014), Graydon in Spice World (1997), Andy Mackinaw in Studio 60 on the Sunset Strip (2006), Sam Cutter in Dice (2001), Rex in The Last Days of Disco and so many more. He was also a cast member on Saturday Night Live and wrote for several episodes of the show. All of that is thanks to his original gig: The Kids in the Hall. He was a founding member of the sketch comedy troupe that was a quick sensation in and around Toronto. He met them all doing improv and sketch in the city and the next thing they knew they were on TV. In the pilot episode of the series that aired in 1988, Mark and the boys were totally naked. Yes, it's funny, but that tight booty is also fierce. That ass kept us watching!
