Playdurizm (2020)

Demir (Gem Deger) is a confused and unstable teenager who finds his only kindred spirit in the form of an unobtainable onscreen idol, Andrew (Austin Chunn).  Demir fantasizes about the two of them being best friends, the two of them going to parties together, the two of them being lovers, and the two of them having a bunch of blood-lust heavy secrets between them while on the road to damnation together! When Demir finds himself actually caught up in the real world of his obsession and idol, reality begins to bend and morph into a fever dream that doesn't quite add up to the reality that Demir is used to.  While he stumbles down the rabbit hole with Andrew, Demir soon begins to lose all sense of what is real and what is fantasy, especially the dark and violent reasons that put the two of them in the same place at the same time, when they shouldn't be!  Along the way, he begins to see clues that lead him to examine his world and how he wants to be possessed by the love, lust, and fearful hero, Andrew, that he has built up in his head!  Luckily for us, the artist, writer, director, and star of this first time filmmakers feature film Playdurizm, Gem Deger, doesn't mind making his Nudecomer debut in this mindbender of a flick!  We also get to see the tall and toned Austin Chunn play the object of psychotic desire with a couple of tasty gay scenes for his first time around!
