It’s being reported that Irish-born beefcake Ray Stevenson has passed away at the age of 58. No cause of death has been disclosed at this point, but the burly Brit had recently been seen in the blockbuster, Oscar-nominated Hindi film RRR and was set to appear in the upcoming Ahsoka series for Disney+. He’s also a part of the MCU, having played fellow Asgardian Volstagg in the Thor films, although his first Marvel role was when he took over the role of Frank Castle/The Punisher from Thomas Jane in the 2008 film Punisher: War Zone.

R.I.P Ray Stevenson

Those who have been following Ray’s busy career since the 1990s know that the towering hunk has some skintastic nudity on his resume, starting with his breakthrough role on the HBO series Rome. Ray starred as Titus Pullo, the hedonistic soldier serving under Julius Caesar. Among his many sex-ploits, the show depicts his character being enticed into bed with Queen Cleopatra of Egypt, suggesting he is actually the biological father of her child with Caesar, and delivering a shot of Ray’s butt and ballsack in the process. He would show even more in Season Two when he’s seen running around naked covered in blood.

Ray actually made his nude debut on the big screen years earlier though, as a gigolo attempting to sex up a terminally ill Helena Bonham Carter in the 1997 film Theory of Flight. Things don’t work out but at least we get Ray’s slow, sensual striptease and bit of sidebooty.

He made two more nude appearances, both in 2017, on the BBC One drama Rellik and in the sci-fi horror film Cold Skin. In the latter, a hairy Ray struts across a room in the buff and stands on a sunlit balcony, giving us a final flash of cock and a longer look at his amazing ass.

We’ll miss this tall drink of sexually charged water more than we can say, but we’re thankful for all the great nudity he left behind.
