Television and movie star Treat Williams passed away in a motorcycle accident yesterday, and we at Mr. Man are paying tribute to the classic hottie by highlighting his most iconic role - the handsome hippie Berger in the 1979 film version of the hit musical, Hair.

The plot of film version is actually quite different than the stage version, which has a whole group nude scene. Luckily, we still get treated to Treat’s tempting tush, and even some nice backsack, as he switches clothes with his friend Claude (John Savage). Treat is the indisputable star of the film, exuding playful charisma while singing lead on many of the film’s songs, and being the one to go off to war instead of Claude (unlike the original).

R.I.P. Treat Williams

Treat would go on to have a lengthy career in entertainment, and would even receive an Emmy nomination for his role in the 1996 television movie The Late Shift. He was tragically taken too soon, but we’re glad we got to enjoy his provocative talents while he was here.
