Growing up in Queensland, Australia, Ryan Johnson’s youth was mostly spent surfing and skateboarding. When his parents became friends with a guy who did a magic and miming show, Ryan’s life was changed forever. Falling in love with performing, Ryan didn’t focus on magic but instead dug theater, eventually studying acting at the Queensland University of Technology. During his senior year, he landed a part in the small film City Loop (2000) and his career was off and running. Helps when you're hot!
