Musclebound morsel of man-meat Arnold Schwarzenegger first got the world standing at attention by displaying his bulging and well-oiled abs, glutes, and biceps (as well as an icy discipline and determination) in the 1977 bodybuilding documentary Pumping Iron. Lusts were as hard as Arnold’s pecs when he won the title of Mr. Universe in 1969 and won Mr. Olympia seven times. But what about the barbell in his pants?
Schwarzenegger’s acting career began in 1970 when he portrayed the title character in the low-budget mythological action flick Hercules in New York. We’ve all heard about the seven labors of Hercules, but Arnold got us more interested in seeing the seven inches of Hercules. In 1982, a loincloth-clad performance as hard-bodied sword-handler Conan the Barbarian launched Arnold’s career as a Hollywood A-lister. And we all know what the “A” stands for.
Starting with James Cameron’s 1984 masterpiece The Terminator (more like The Sperminator), Arnold began to command salaries as large as his muscles in blockbuster action flicks like Commando (1985), Predator (1987), and Raw Deal (1986). Something’s raw over here, but it’s not our deal!
Eventually, Arnold switched from acting to politics and became the governor of California in a 2003 (total) recall election. He left politics and returned to movies after a second term, with the wall-to-wall hunkfest The Expendables (2010). But if we still have a vote, we’d all elect to see the Schwarzenpecker!
