Sick of It (2018) was created by Ricky Gervais and Stephen Merchant's friend Karl Pilkington, who had already starred in a pair of reality shows: An Idiot Abroad and The Moaning of Life. Marking Pilkington's first attempt at scripted television, Karl stars as a fictionalized version of himself that never hit it big on the radio. Instead, this Karl is a West London cabbie who constantly talks to the beanie hat wearing voice inside his head that keeps it real, while he self-censors all the time. Karl's a bit of a loser, stuck living with his American aunt Norma (Sondra James) after his girlfriend Zoe (Kate Ashfield) kicks him to the curb for not giving her a baby. But it's not his lot in life that frustrates Karl, it's all the people who refuse to let him live his life. From a bunch of vacationers who won't stop forcing Karl to come along on their adventures to his neighbors who let their newborn cry and cry and cry and expect him to deal with it because single people need to acquiesce to the demands of other people's kids, Karl constantly finds himself in very Curb Your Enthusiasm type situations. For two seasons Sky One viewers watched Karl struggle with day-to-day annoyances, but Mr. Man was rather annoyed at the lack of full-frontal in this one. In fairness, Karl is quite fit when he takes off his shirt to throw it in a burn pit. He's making something burn in our nethers watching his fuzzy, lean chest. Later, Karl will walk around in his boxers talking to his alter ego as he trims his pubes. At one point, we even see that he has tattooed a girl's name on his bum! Always a bad move! Karl might be perturbed all the time, but he looks perty good without a lot of clothes on! We'll never get sick of seeing Karl's body on Sick of It!
