The effortlessly cool artist was a film producer who worked with director Paul Morrissey to bring us salacious films to drool over. Paul Morrissey's partnership with Andy Warhol is part of the reason why Andy's non-canvas work is still well-known. Andy put him in charge of all film projects and had him sign a contract that put him in charge of Warhol's studios (except for his art sales). Paul put Andy's name on all of his directed films to capitalize on the fame and notoriety of The Factory and living legend Andy Warhol and that was an extremely smart movie. With Andy's name and blessing, Morrissey's sexy experimental work was given a home and an audience.
But let's talk about Flesh. This sexy flick stars Factory regular Joe Dallesandro as a husband who needs money for his girlfriend's abortion. Been there, right?
