The Capture (2019-2022)

The crime series The Capture first launched on BBC One in 2019 before getting picked up Stateside by Peacock, which ordered a second season of the series. Series one focused on the plight of Lance Corporal Shaun Emery (Callum Turner), acquitted of a war crime while serving in Afghanistan, the former soldier now finds himself accused of murder back home. Detective Inspector Rachel Carey (Holliday Grainger) soon uncovers a conspiracy that may prove Emery is the target of some very nefarious and very powerful people. The second series focused on rising politician Isaac Turner (Paapa Essiedu), who enlists Rachel's help to clear his name after a deepfake video of him circulates, stirring up memories of LC Emery's similar plight. She might be stirring up some feelings in her loins as well when she gets a load of Paapa Essiedu without a shirt in on in the second season's fourth and fifth episode! It'd be hard not to get worked up over such a sexy man!
