Is there any villain more famous and sexy than the one and only Count Vlad Dracula? I think not! People don't want to make sweet sensual love to zombies or Frankenstein's monster (sea creatures though...people seem to be very into getting jiggy with sea creatures a la The Shape of Water). That's why I think there are SO many movies and TV shows honoring Drac - he's hot!
Nerd alert for a moment: it's thought that Count Dracula as we know and love him today was based on legendary bi icon Lord Byron. The first vampire story ever was written by his bitter assistant (and lover?) who attended the same night that brought us Frankenstein.
This guy, John Polidori, was there, too! The rest is history as Bram Stoker was inspired by this initial story and he wrote Dracula years later. Doesn't that make so much sense? Dracula was based on a wealthy, intelligent, extravagant, sex god that everyone wanted a piece of...and written by someone jealous that they couldn't have him. Thus the bloodsucking! You can see this story referenced in the 1986 film Gothic.
So with that in mind, I wanted to point out the hottest guys who have ever played Dracula. Note: this is not a list of vampires! No, no. These are not general, run-of-the-mill vampires. These are DRACULAS.
5. Luke Evans
Luke Evans is the openly gay, blue-eyed sexpot of my dreams. So he really made my dreams come true when he played Dracula in Dracula Untold. He did not go nude, but he did go shirtless and show us those abs. Mmmm, Luke Evans' abs.
In the film Dracula Rising, Christopher Atkins played the devious and daring Vlad. He shows his ass in the movie, but he goes the extra mile when he flashes his dick. He dives underwater nude and even though the waters are murky, we can see his jerky. That's a dick, Drac!
He plays Young Dracula in the Canadian indie film Dracula in Love where he had us falling in love with his big peach. Gerard has a HOT sex scene that happens at a vampire pace in Dracula 2000. He bangs musician Vitamin C - yes, THAT Vitamin C!
