Dracula (2020)

You can always Count on a new version of Bram Stoker's legendary bloodsucker to pop up on TV every couple of years. And when it's on a channel that allows nudity, now that's something to be stoked about! In 2020, the undead and impossibly suave bloodsucker had some new life breathed into him via a three-part miniseries on Netflix titled simple Dracula. The show was split into three very different stories, all following Claes Bang as Count Dracula. In the first episode, it's 1897 and the Count is in Transylvania plotting his reign of terror on Victorian England. Like in the book, he ruins the life of poor Jonathan Harker (John Heffernan) when the solicitor pays a visit to his enormous castle. Jonathan will flee to a convent for help, only to meet a nasty nurse named Sister Agatha Van Helsing (Dolly Wells). Gender swap! In the second episode, Dracula will hop on The Demeter. As the bodies pile up, the episode plays as a sort of murder mystery where the other passengers try to figure out exactly what's going on. The last episode drops Drac into present day England, where we see how he's adapted to modern technology and all the changes it's brought. Claes Bang takes on the lead role previously played by Bela Lugosi, Christopher Lee, and Gary Oldman, yet he oozes more charm than most of them while showing you his Danish derriere, much to our delight.  This naughty Nosferatu does all the evil things you'd expect from him... He beheads some clergy, seduces young ladies with a single stare, wears gory skin suits to transform into others, and most importantly, temps us with that Transylvanian tush on full display.  If only Keanu Reeves would show up at some point to say "The man himself, he has grown young!" in his British accent, to woo you even further, you might never be able to take your eyes off the screen! Whether he's lying naked surrounded by flames or walking around a convent naked, Claes Bang was incredibly bangable in Dracula!
