Move over Nova Scotia Duck Tolling Retrievers. Even though you’re adorable dogs, the only Nova Scotia creature we want to cuddle is Canadian cutie Ty Olsson. Like Daniel Doheny, David Richmond-Peck, and Scott McNeil, Ty learned his craft at Studio 58 in British Columbia, not to be confused with Studio 54 in New York City! The Halifax hottie warms up the Great White North with his sizzling presence that he shares on the big and small screens. Ty looks like he was born to be an MMA fighter with his super strong body but, fortunately for us, he’s a talented actor who enters our home via TV! The boob tube babe can be seen on The Man in the High Castle (2018-2019) and heard on Voltron Force (2011-2012), Packages from Planet X (2013-2014), Nerds and Monsters (2014-2016), and Angry Birds: Summer Madness (2022). We also love the Perfect 10’s performance on The 100 (2014-2017). That goes double for his turn in X2 (2003). And Mr. Man rises whenever he sees Mr. Olsson in Rise of the Planet of the Apes (2011). Yet Ty is best known for his portrayals of Benny Lafitte on Supernatural (2006-2019); Mark Bingham in the television movie Flight 93 (2006); and Ord on the animated children’s series Dragon Tales (1999-2005). Of course, we’re most partial to Olsson’s part on Slasher (2017) since it showcases his tattooed guns, bare chest, and same sex preferences for co-star Luke Humphrey. When they kiss, this Netflix series will have you literally streaming!
