Teen Wolf's Tyler Posey has grown into a super sexy actor desired by both men and women, which leaves people wondering about his own sexuality. Especially when he plays a gay characterin the new show Now Apocalypse. The show already has a lot of nudity, but as Tyler told AOL in a recent interview, his agents went to great lengths with him before he agreed to do the show to make sure he would be okay with "a lot of nudity". So we hope this is a sign of sexy things to come from Tyler!
Tyler says, however, that he's not gay. He insists this a couple of times in the interview but adds that he is very confident in his sexuality and that's what makes his role so cool. He said, “I was excited to play a gay character, because I’m really comfortable with my sexuality, and I think it’s cool that somebody could see me on the show and say, ‘Hey, that kid is really comfortable with his sexuality, and he’s going all for it and that can inspire me to love myself.’
And when it comes to working on the show? Tyler loves it. When asked about nudity in Now Apocalypse he said, "I was totally with it and didn’t have a second guess about it. As soon as I committed to the project, I was all in: I’m shoving my tongue down some dude’s throat, and I don’t know how much else I can say, but we jerked off in the alley in the first episode. Bring it on." BRING IT ON. That's what we like to hear!
But when it comes to playing gay? He truly doesn't mind and while he hears the criticismsabout straight actors playing gay, he doesn't agree with it. "Does that mean that gay people are only limited to play gay roles and can’t play straight roles? It puts lines and barriers around what we’re trying to portray on the show of being fluid and open and everyone beingaccepted." Interesting take, for sure. What do you all think?
