Um Tao-goo is definitely worthy of some real life Goo from you when you see this South Korean snack hit the screen! Born in 1983 on the friendly side of the 38th parallel, Um Tao-goo has been racking up some impressive film credits dating back to 2007, but 2009 was when his career really took off when he was cast in two popular flicks with Oh! My God 2 and Secret. He really hit the big time in his native country though in 2010's incredible cat and mouse serial killer flick, I Saw the Devil. This hottie with a body also dabbled a bit in a handful of Korean TV series like Inspiring Generation and Drama Special. Then in 2015, he started earning some meatier parts, with titles like Coin Locker Girl (2015), The Age of Shadows (2016), and the critically acclaimed A Taxi Driver (2017), just to name a few. Once getting those credits under his (hopefully loose) belt, he jumped up the ladder to leading man status with roles on the popular series Goo-hae-jwo in 2018 and then two successive top billed roles in My Punch-Drunk Boxer (2019) and Night in Paradise (2020). The latter flick is what brings him our way as he plays a vengeful assassin hiding out from a gang of bad guys on Jeju Island, off the coast of South Korea, where he falls in love with a terminally ill woman while fighting off henchmen looking for his head! While he doesn't get openly in the buff in that one, he does whoop some serious ass in a spa scene without his shirt on and it's enough to make you drop some goo for Um Tae-goo!
