If you like them big, cut up, and macho, then you couldn’t do much better than massive megahunk Ving Rhames. He’s six feet and 200 pounds of solid muscle and can bench 300 pounds. ven his name is tough! Born and raised in Harlem, Ving studied acting at New York City’s famed High School of Performing Arts and The Julliard School of Drama before he honed his acting skills performing the works of the bard with Shakespeare in the Park. His first screen role came in the 1984 made-for-TV movie Go Tell It on the Mountain and two years later he appeared in the Richard Wright adaptation Native Son. Too bad we don’t see his naked buns!
Ving played the sexy but sinister Symbionese Liberation Army leader Cinque in the 1988 true crime flick Patty Hearst and made appearances on TV shows like Spenser: For Hire, Miami Vice, Crime Story, and our favorite, Men. But it was his performance as the gangster Marsellus Wallace in Quentin Tarantino’s 1994 Oscar winner Pulp Fiction that really won him recognition. In that movie, he gets kidnapped along with Bruce Willis and nearly escapes being part of a threesome with him. What’s to escape, Ving?
