Swept Away (2002)

The romantic comedy Swept Away (2002) stars Madonna as Amber Leighton, a forty-year old beauty that is as spoiled as she is arrogant. Nothing makes Amber happy, not even her doting, pharmaceutical tycoon husband, Tony (Bruce Greenwood). In an attempt to appease his wife, Tony takes Amber on a private cruise from Greece to Italy with their friends Marina (Jeanne Tripplehorne), Debi (Elizabeth Banks), and their husbands Todd (Michael Beattie) and Michael (David Thornton). Amber just cannot be satisfied, and she soon takes out her displeasure in the ship’s first mate, Giuseppe (Adriano Giannini). But when a storm leaves captain and cunt shipwrecked on a deserted island, the two inexplicably fall in love.
