The Bequeathed (2024-)

The Bequeathed is a 2024 South Korean series that can be enjoyed Stateside on Netflix, thank goodness! We're not unique in having a passion for all things K. K-pop, K-movies, K-TV - the world has an insatiable appetite, and The Bequeathed is meaty enough to satisfy our collective hunger. Here a woman inherits her uncle's mysterious burial site, but the problem is A) she didn't even know she had an uncle and B) her crazed half-brother will stop at nothing to gain control of the site from her. It turns out that a dark presence may just be calling the ultimate shots here, and each episode of this limited series reveals another piece of this puzzle. Don't expect much nudity from The Bequeathed - just the ass on Park Sung-hoon as he portrays a bloodied cadaver. Never have I cadaver!
