Since starting out as a stand-up comedian at the age of seventeen, Aziz Ansari has become known for his unique voice, both literally and comedically (he’s got a certain sort of adorable squeak-like but not quite sound). He’s also quite the looker, also in a certain adorable kind of way. He first established himself as a writer and actor on the short-lived but well-liked MTV sketch series Human Giant from 2007-2008, which he also co-created. (But if you’re quick and observant, you can catch him in an earlier role, as a classmate in School for Scoundrels (2006) with Billy Bob Thornton.) He’s had small and moderately sized roles in a number of TV series, including Flight of the Conchords, Scrubs, Reno 911!, and The League, but came to the forefront of American pop culture with his role as Tom Haverford in Amy Poehler’s NBC primetime mockumentary Parks and Recreation, a role he mastered from 2009-2015. And speaking of mastered, straight off his sitcom success, Netflix gave him his own show, Master of None, where he played Dev from 2015-2021. In addition to acting in it, he also helped write it, and won two Primetime Emmy’s for his pen techniques (as well as a Golden Globe for his acting). In the first season, he engages in an affair with Claire Danes (!), and she strips his shirt off. His adorable (Sorry! It’s really just the best description for him!) tummy is rounded, and the hint of biceps makes Mr. Man think he did a few push-ups right before getting his make-out on with Claire. You can also see him in various big-screen roles, and in 2023, you can see him writing, directing, and acting on the film Being Mortal with Billy Murray and Keke Palmer. Adorable!
