Black Eyed Susan is like an episode of Black Mirror on steroids, which is certainly saying something considering how dire that show paints the future of technology. In Black Eyed Susan our protagonist Derek (Damian Maffei) takes on a job at a tech firm developing the world's most advanced AI robot, named Susan. But there's a twist - Susan is built to not only endure but enjoy violence. She's supposed to be a punching bag for male violence, allowing men to let it all out in a safe space. But Derek learns that there's a dark underbelly to this already dark project. Derek is our kind of guy, and not just because he isn't on board for a sadomasochistic AI sex robot.
