Boss (2011) (2011-2012)

In 2011, Kelsey Grammer put the entertaining intellectual elitism of Frasier behind him when he returned to TV as the conniving and cruel mayor of Chicago in the Starz series Boss. The real life outspoken Conservative plays Tom Kane, the Mayor of Chicago who is even more corrupt than the real ones have been for decades. Kane has been diagnosed with a terminal, degenerative disease that's going to give him dementia and destroy his brain within the next few years. Is he going to pull a Joe Biden and step down for a younger person to take over the gig? Absolutely not! Tom Kane is going to do whatever he can to stay in power, whether that means bullying journalists like Sam Miller (Troy Garity) who start to figure things out, make sure his wife (Connie Nielsen) is too terrified to spill the beans, or even reaching out to his drug addict daughter (Hannah Ware) to try and see if she'll give him a hand. Meaner than The West Wing, which it came after, but not quite as cutting as House of Cards, which it came just before, Boss only lasted two seasons before it got cancelled. At least it gave us some boss nudity before it got canned! Former Ally McBeal star Gil Bellows shows off his skivvies while banging a pal's wife, while Steve Lenz bares butt while fooling around in a tight pair of boxer-briefs before they get pulled off. They're not shy in Chi-town! And you'll forget da Bears and enjoy da butt when the hunkie Jeff Hephner strips down for yet more adultery. His abs and ass are absolutely awesome! This sure is a Skindy City! With those first-rate dudes from the second city, Boss will make you sauce!
