Brain Backer is an American actor born on December 5th, 1956. You’ve maybe seen him in Moving Violations (1985) as Scott Greeber, or Police Academy 4: Citizens on Patrol (1987). However, he is best known for his role as the timid teen Mark “Rat” Ratner in the iconic coming of age film Fast Times At Ridgemont High (1982). In Fast Times Backer strips down to cannonball into the pool, and splashes right into our hearts. And pants. Even though Backer doesn’t undress below the belt, he flaunts a sprinkling of chest hair and sweet little nips. Not to mention those tiny swim shorts that gave us all a coming of age story of our own. Well, not the “of age” part. Even though Brian Backer is middle aged now, we’ll always look back fondly on his delectable teenage years at Ridgemont High.
