He became a teen idol a bit later on for his role as David Witherspoon on the series Our House as well as for his slightly briefer stint on St. Elsewhere. He continued working consistently for a long while thereafter, appearing in My Two Dads, starring in Dr. Quinn, Medicine Woman, and acing in films like We Married Margo (2000), What Matters Most (2001), and Paris (2003). He gets very sexy, though, in the gay themed made for TV movie Third Man Out (2005), in which he plays the character Donald Strachey.
