The enormously wealthy Ewing family gets a reboot in the TNT series Dallas, and there’s even more corruption, family squabbles and romantic betrayals than the original series ever offered. For fans of the classic soap, this primetime affair brings back three characters from the past: Bobby Ewing (Patrick Duffy), Sue Ellen Ewing (Linda Gray) and, before his death, J.R. Ewing (Larry Hagman). Joined by the new generation of Ewings—John Ross (Josh Henderson), son of J.R. and Sue Ellen; Christopher (Jesse Metcalfe), Bobby’s adopted son; Elena Ramos (Jordana Brewster), John’s girlfriend a Christopher’s former fiancée; Rebecca Sutter (Julie Gonzalo), Christopher’s wife; and Ann (Brenda Strong), Bobby’s wife, the excessively large cast will keep you on the edge of your seats. You might just need a score card to keep up with the family, but you’ll definitely be scoring with yourself when you see Josh Henderson rock a pair of boxer briefs. It looks like everything is bigger in Texas!
