Biography

Who knew when Oceanic Flight 815 crashed on a mysterious island, one of the hottest bods would turn out to be hidden underneath a straight-laced business guy? Daniel Dae Kim played Jin-Soo Kwon on Lost from 2004-2010, and the man was born to live on a beach. Actually, he was born in South Korea and raised in New York and Pennsylvania. He earned an MFA from New York University’s Graduate Acting Program, while also appearing on stage throughout the city. Daniel stepped in front of the cameras in 1991 to play Gao in the film American Shaolin, and thus began a long and fruitful career. Before he boarded the transatlantic flight, he did pop-ups in just about every primetime hit in the late ‘80s, and had regular gigs on Crusade in 1999, Angelfrom 2001-2003, and ER and 24 from 2003-2004. On the big screen, he played Raymond in Spider-Man 2 (2004), Park in Crash (2004), Jack Kang in Insurgent (2015) and Allegiant (2016), and Ben Daimio in Hellboy(2019), where an impressive set of abs await your perusal. Back on the little screen, we greatly admire his time on Hawaii Five-O from 2010-2017, playing Chin Ho Kelly. Regularly shirtless on the beach, and stunning in a very tiny towel, you get to see what Daniel keeps under his clothes, and it’s damn impressive. Mr. Man will say that again: dayum. With proof positive he looks really good on TV, Hollywood keeps casting him, and he’s been regularly featured in FlackNew AmsterdamThe Hot ZoneAvatar: The Last Airbender, and Pantheon
