Dead Beautiful (2011-2015)

Adapted from the novels of Alexis Lecaye, the French boob tube drama series follows Martin (Thierry Godard), head detective at the local police station, who finds himself reeling with the news that his ex, Marion (Charley Fouquet), is planning on remarrying and his daughter, Isabelle (Clara Ponsot), is pregnant and she has just left the fetus’ daddy. Outside of his personal life, work isn’t treating him much better. A beautiful young woman turns up dead with an arrow in her throat, killed in a methodical manner that leaves Martin scratching his head. What a way to kick off the series. Throughout the show, the hardworking detective becomes inundated with similar crimes full of mystery and murder. Season one, episode three is the place to be if you want to see ass from Guillaume Cramoisan and peen from Laurent Maurel.
