Set in 1976’s New York, the fantasy-crime flick Discopath (2013) follows Duane Lewis (Jérémie Earp-Lavergne), a timid, handsome mild-mannered young man that is easily moved by music. But still waters run deep, because it seems that when Duane hears a disco beat, he quickly transforms into a maniacal killer. Since it’s the mid-70’s, there’s no way to avoid the music of the day, especially when roller skating sweeties force him to go out to dance clubs. After committing a gruesome murder, Duane high tails it to Montreal and finds anonymity and work as a caretaker at an all-girl Catholic school. Of course, Duane can run, but he can’t hide from the amphetamine-beat of disco, which means that the musically motivated killer will inevitably strike again. It’s up to Inspector Sirois (François Aubin) and Detective Willis (Christian Paul) to track down Duane and put an end to his murderous ways.
Thankfully for us, Jérémie Earp-Lavergne attempts to kill us with his hindness when he bares his butt and brief peen while doing a dance in front of an unlucky victim. Jérémie will create a Disco Inferno…in your pants!
