Well-established and well-endowed, the late Dudley Sutton had fans covered. Born and raised in the UK, studley Dudley was a mechanic in the Royal Air Force before he trained at the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art. After the cheeky chap was expelled from school, he was cast as a troubled teen in The Boys (1962) and a homosexual biker in The Leather Boys (1964). Sutton continued to give provocative performances in Federico Fellini’s historic biopic Fellini’s Casanova (1976) and Ken Russell’s X-rated drama The Devils (1971) starring Oliver Reed. Dudley appeared alongside Reed in other pics (The Prince and the Pauper, The Big Sleep) and worked with Russell on more flicks (Valentino, The Rainbow). With a career that spanned some six decades, the busy bloke also entertained audiences with parts on stage (Entertaining Mr Sloane, Pandora’s Lunchbox); on radio (Cosmos the Mystic Dog); and on TV (David Copperfield, EastEnders, Emmerdale, Lovejoy, The Romantics, Skins, Smiley’s People). Although those roles were interesting, Mr. Man was more turned on by Mr. Sutton’s turn in Edward II (1990), an updated version of Christopher Marlowe’s gay play. The R-rated film features Tilda Swinton, Steven Waddington, Andrew Tierman, Nigel Terry, and Dudley’s bare (albeit bloody) chest. When a young thug pulls down his pants, we see the skintastic actor’s ass, shaft and sack. Let’s hear it for exposing it all for one’s craft! Granted, Sutton wasn’t a spring chicken during this revealing scene. Still, we think Dud rules the roost when it comes to doffing his duds!
