Hailing from Missouri, the hilarious Eddie Griffin has made a very respectable career for himself in Hollywood. Originally from Kansas City, Eddie moved to Compton as a teen, briefly served in the Navy, briefly went to jail, but eventually found his way to the LA standup scene. Eventually becoming a Comedy Store mainstay, in the late 90's Eddie did all the big comedy shows like HBO's Comedy Half-Hour,and One Night Stand, did his own special called Eddie Griffin: Voodoo Child (1997) and was a panelist on Hollywood Squares. But as amazing as his comedy is, Eddie might be best known for his movies. He’s appeared a fairly diverse crop of projects, from playing a club DJ in The Last Boy Scout (1991), and cameoing in Coneheads (1993), to getting squished alongside his puppy in Armageddon (1998). As it turns out, though, Eddie also happens to be totally smoking hot. You don’t get to see much of him in any of the aforementioned roles, but his lean, toned, rocking body made its screen debut in the comedy feature Deuce Bigalow: Male Gigolo (1999), in which he played a character named T.J. Hicks. His character exits a closet after having sex with a blind woman inside of it, and his shirtless body is on full display. If we knew any gigolos who looked like that, we’d be flat broke (and flat on our back) in an instant! Eddie's bigger movies include playing the inmate helping out the nerd, Luther in The New Guy (2002) and killing it as the title role in the blaxploitation spoof Undercover Brother (2002). But if you thought Eddie was only able to make people laugh, once you're done checking out his body you might want to check out his work as a pastor in A Star is Born (2018). Wish he'd star in porn, instead! These days, he's hitting the small screen on Woke, while still writing jokes for his standup specials and comedy appearances.
