Written and directed by The Boondock Saints (1999) star Sean Patrick Flanery, Frank and Penelope (2022) is a genre-defying thriller about a Bonnie and Clyde-type pair who run from the law, only to become ensnared by a deadly cannibal cult. Often compared to True Romance (1993) with a little bit of From Dusk Till Dawn (1996) thrown in, the film centers around Frank (Billy Budinich), a drifter who catches his girl in bed with another man, which leads him to drift into a strip club where he catches the eye of the gorgeous blonde Penelope (Caylee Cowan). After Penelope botches a credit card swiping scam, the two realize they have nothing to lose and everything to gain from committing to a life of crime. The duo decides to embark on a crime spree that has them heading out west with the law hot on their trail and end up falling in love along the way. But they go too far when they attempt to hold up a creepy diner in the middle of nowhere, despite the advice of a Sheriff (Kevin Dillon) who warned them all about the weirdos living there. It turns out that the place is run by a cannibal cultist, and soon Frank and Penelope aren't just running from the law... they're running from a hungry group of human eating psychopaths! Billy Budinich doesn't share his bod here, which, to be frank, is extremely disappointing. But he does happen upon a lady getting it from behind from another dude and loving it. That other dude pleasing that gash is one Mike Bash, and we can see his ass as he plows into this lucky lady. This bash is a serious party in or pants! We were hoping to see the long, hard frank of Billy Budinich in Frank and Penelope, but we can't bash the movie because at least we got some Mike Bash bum!
