Getaway (2022)

Singapore has come a long way! Gay sex between two men is technically illegal in Singapore, and gay men in Singapore are not allowed to adopt children. However, gay leaders, makers, and shakers in the community are helping set Singapore on the path forward with awesome gay content like the series Getaway. They will not be silenced. But they will be shirtless. Getaway is considered a BL series, BL standing for "Boy Love." BL is a runaway Asian phenomenon consisting of gay content geared towards women consumers. Getaway is "Singapore's first gay BL web drama series" and follows Sam (Sean Foo) after his coming-out is met with resistance from his community. His subsequent journey to connect with his gay uncle (who was also ousted for being gay) hits a welcomed detour when Sam runs across a man named Top (yes, Top!), played by Paween Naliang. Will the two get down with some BL lovin'? You can probably guess! There's no nudity here to speak of, but hot and heavy gay action abounds. You can't spell "blow job" without BL!
