The gorgeous Glen Deveau only made one movie in his life, but made sure to showcase his man meat in that lone on screen appearance. That full frontal appearance came in the film Beefcake (1998), which is a mix of documentary and drama, that explores the muscle men magazines of the 1950s which were officially produced as health and fitness guides, but were purchased primarily by gay men who treated them as defacto nudie mags. Yes, it ends up your lifelong bachelor uncle who never lifted a weight in his life wasn't collecting those magazines for their tips on deadlifts. The based on a true story film follows Bob Mizer, a publisher of such magazines and a producer of porn films for gay men for over 40 years. At one point in the movie, Glen appears in the film as a former soldier serving as one of Bob’s models, posing completely naked with his muscles flexed for the camera. We get a solid shot of Glen’s muscular, hairy chest as well as his huge hog as Bob shoots away. Sure, we could talk about his boulder shoulders or thirst trap traps, but you know what our eyes were focused on. Glen’s healthy package alone deserves the title “beefcake” because that thing is meaty. This soldier is certainly making us stand at attention. Unfortunately, it looks like that was as far as Glen's acting career took him, and there isn't much info about what he opted to do with his life, instead. Oh well.
